Many years ago, I studied scriptwriting at university and that confirmed to me, that I preferred working on other people’s scripts than on my own. Throughout my career in distribution, I have also worked in development with for example, the in-house productions and pre-buys at UK distributor Soda Pictures.

I support writers in realising their vision. I will challenge and push the writer to create their best possible work, but within a safe and protective environment. 

I am originally from the UK and a native English speaker, but I have gravitated towards non-English language projects or English language projects from non-native English speakers. I previously studied French and German and now I live in Norway and am learning Norwegian. I love exploring the nuances of storytelling in different languages and cultures, and I bring that curiosity and openness to every project I work on.
