Programming - Shortwave Cinema - London

Programmed the Shortwave Cinema for four years, from its launch in 2009 and through its digitisation in 2012.

From 2009 - 2012 the programme was produced monthly, showing the best in independent, arthouse and classics as well as hosting numerous film festivals and special events.

In 2012, with the introduction of a digital projector, the cinema became a first-run cinema and the introduction of a fortnightly programme enabled successful films to keep playing.

As well as the programming, I was responsible for the production of the brochures, writing copy, scheduling, returns and managing the back-end of the online ticketing system.

I also managed the cinema's participation in the Europa Cinema Network - securing funding for the cinema.
